New COVID advisory affecting the EHDA March competition and Championship released by ScotDance Canada as of January 30, 2022.
It is highly recommended that dancers wear masks while competing.
Update regarding reels at Championship events: At the time of posting the Northern and Central Alberta Confined Championship entry form, Reels are not being included in sanctioned events in accordance with the Risk Management Committee for ScotDance Canada. The Strathspey and Highland Reel may be included on the day of the Northern and Central Alberta Confined Championship should the Risk Management Committee and consulting doctors deem safe to proceed with this dance at that time.
A further review will be conducted in early March. We will keep you advised of any changes to protocols. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
